The Selebi-Phikwe Town Council, in partnership with
Orange Botswana, will jointly host the 2025 Orange Phikwe National Marathon on 26 July 2025 at the Sam Sono Stadium in Selebi-Phikwe. The marathon will feature multiple races, offering opportunities for everyone to participate, regardless of age or athletic ability. The event will include the following race categories: a 5 km fun run, 10 km race, 21.1 km half marathon, 42.2 km full marathon, Veterans (Men and Women) 42.2 km, and Master Veterans (Men and Women) 42.2 km.
